Beginning September 29, 2026, the Brand Power Innovation Lab is open for bookings at Venture X College Park—a premium podcast and content studio for founders, executives, experts, and organizations ready to create with intention.
The Lab was announced on September 23 during the book signing for Function, Moniesha Shorter’s book on alignment, capability, and purpose, released August 20. The setting was deliberate. Function argues that impact comes from alignment, not titles. The Brand Power Innovation Lab puts that idea into practice: a place where leaders turn what they know into a voice people hear.
Maryland produces some of the most consequential work in the country. That includes federal research, quantum science, healthcare, cybersecurity, and a growing base of small businesses across Prince George’s County. Too little of it reaches the people who fund, buy, partner, and hire. Expertise without visibility stays local. Visibility without intention becomes noise.
The Brand Power Innovation Lab is built to close that gap. It pairs a professional production space with a strategic approach to content, so ideas from this region reach audiences with the clarity and credibility they’ve earned.
College Park is a technology corridor where federal research, the University of Maryland, and private-sector innovation meet in one place. Venture X College Park was built at that intersection. Its community already includes technology founders, healthcare professionals, federal consultants, and researchers from College Park and the surrounding communities of Riverdale, Greenbelt, Hyattsville, Beltsville, and Laurel. They have the most to say, and the most to gain from saying it well.
It’s the same location where startups come together every week to present to a group of their peers, launch major initiatives, and go from idea to execution. Now it’s also where Maryland’s leaders shape the story of their work.
