Tell us a little about Landers & Sternberg.

We are a consumer protection law firm that focuses on helping residential tenants who have issues with their landlords.

What led you to start Landers & Sternberg?

The need to have freedom in the types of legal cases I wanted to pursue and helping people in need in my community.

What sets your business apart from your competitors?

We operate as a boutique law firm, which means we are very hands-on and meet with our clients and talk to them often and directly, so it’s a more personalized experience for people who need legal help.

What is something you wish you’d known when you were just starting your business?

Look for the most specific niche you can, and be the best at that niche.

How do you navigate your work-life balance?

I make music every night in my home studio, which allows me to let go of everything work-related for at least a few hours a day.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Getting money back for clients who were treated poorly.

How has being a part of the Venture X community affected you and your business?

Having a relaxing space in a great area of downtown Orlando has given our firm new energy and presence.

If you had a friend in town and you could take them to one of your favorite restaurants or spots in your community, where would you take them?

I would take them to Tori Tori for happy hour drinks and the delicious food.
