Professionals across cities, suburbs, and small towns worldwide are increasingly drawn to coworking spaces due to their ability to facilitate a productive work-life balance.
According to the 2nd Global Coworking Survey, 75% of members reported an increase in productivity, 92% expanded their social networks, and 86% experienced reduced loneliness at work.1
Coworking spaces are especially appealing to millennials, who find traditional office environments dull and remote work locations distracting, hindering their creativity and productivity.
However, coworking spaces are not limited to millennial small business owners; they are also gaining popularity among medium-to-large-scale businesses seeking to avoid leases and take advantage of cost-effective membership plans.
But if you've never stepped foot inside a coworking space, you may be wondering "what exactly does a typical workday look like at a coworking space like Venture X?"
In this blog post, we will take a closer look at a day in the life of a Venture X member at their Greenwood Village location.

Arriving at Venture X, Greenwood Village
Now, if you're used to working in a traditional office, you may be thinking how members now need to stop at their local Starbucks or bring a large coffee canteen from home in order to fuel up for the day.
Well here in the coworking world, we run things a little differently.
Since Venture X has its very own coffee bar that's free to members, the day begins with a member showing up empty-handed to the space! Once they arrive, and are greeted by our lovely Community Manager, Kristin, members can start sippin' our delicious brew.
After members' mugs are full, they head to their designated workspace area and set up their laptops. For some, this is in our open seating areas, and for others, in their private office space.
Putting in the Work
Feeling productive at Venture X is as easy as 123.
At Greenwood Village Tech Center, the coworking space offers a range of amenities to help members get their best work done, including meeting rooms, phone booths, and conference rooms.
Our meeting rooms are perfect for small group meetings, presentations, or video conferences. They come equipped with projectors, screens, and video conferencing equipment, making it easy for members to collaborate with clients or coworkers remotely.
Our spacious phone booths are great for private phone calls, short video conferences, or to get some quick focused work done. All phone booths are soundproof and offer a quiet and private space to make important calls or have a controlled video conference with colleagues.
Our spacious conference rooms are ideal for larger meetings or events. They are equipped with AV equipment, projectors, and sound systems, making it easy to give presentations or host workshops.
Lunch Break
As midday strikes, members take a break and head to either the shared kitchen area to make lunch or hop in their car for a quick 2-minute drive for local eats.

Venture X offers a variety of workspaces, including private offices, dedicated desks, and hot desks. Depending on the member's needs, they can choose the workspace that best suits them. What's so great about so many seating and membership options, is that members can upgrade or downgrade their membership as business needs change.
End-of-the-Day Events
At the end of a long day, Venture X members unwind and connect at post-work networking events. These events provide an opportunity for members to socialize, make new connections, and learn about new industry trends and practices.
At Greenwood Village Tech Center, post-work networking events are a regular occurrence. These events often include drinks and snacks, as well as professional development activities. Members can network with each other, discuss industry trends, and gain new insights into their work.
One particular event focused on sales pipeline development using social media marketing. One of the members, an expert in this area, gave a presentation on how to leverage social media to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Attendees learned about the importance of social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook in driving sales, and how to develop effective social media marketing strategies.
