Working from home has its perks, but socialization is not one of them! A Community Membership at Venture X gives me the opportunity to change up the scenery every once in a while, get a nice cup of coffee, interact with interesting folks, and take advantage of regular breakfasts and happy hours. The staff is great, to boot - Lorena and McKenna go out of their way to ensure everyone's experience is a positive one, and there's always candy on the reception desk :-). If you're looking for a co-working spot in the Ballantyne area, look no further!

If you are looking for a place to work and grow your business, this is it! The staff was great and the owners were on site talking to everyone. It was so nice to see the engagement. They had breakfast for everyone with Protein drink options too. I worked in the open area and used a small conference room for a meeting. I loved my day here! They have offices and desks and open space. Don’t miss working here!

I’ve had the pleasure of operating The Jordan Insurance Agency out of Venture X Torington, and it has been a game-changer for us. The support from Lorena and her outstanding team makes coming to work every day enjoyable and productive. The culture here is exceptional—being surrounded by other driven businesses keeps us focused and inspired. The atmosphere is first-class, fostering a professional yet comfortable environment where collaboration thrives. Finding this gem in the Ballantyne/Torington area has been a true blessing for our business, and we couldn’t imagine working anywhere else.

I recently worked with Lorena and McKenna at Venture X, and I can't recommend them enough! Our team leased office space and received exceptional service throughout the process. They consistently met all our admin needs, making everything seamless. Their outstanding customer service has been instrumental in supporting the growth of our plumbing company in Charlotte. Update Sept 2024: Now that I am at the end of my term, I’m grateful my rent was not raised by more than 20%, which appears to be what they will charge future tenants. However, they were not able to re-rent my office with 5 weeks notice, AND I just learned they intend to charge me a $200 flat fee PLUS whatever a contractor will charge them for patching, painting… I find that fee egregious and utterly unnecessary, I only hung 4 frames with minimal holes. My former co-working space did not charge anything when I moved out, full refund if deposit. I lower my rating from 4 stars to 3 stars, as this leaves a bad, disappointing taste in my mouth. Late 2022: I’ve been a member at this facility for 6 months now. Because most small offices are rented, I decided to work from a semi-public, shared desk space at first, which works well because this co-working space has four separate phone booths that enable private, longer meetings, which I needed. I have now been in a private office for 4 months and love it. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and great other tenants. Multiple lunch spots close by, in walking distance, which I enjoy. Only downside is a weird policy around the use of board rooms: there are three, and they are hardly ever in use. My office has one hour of boardroom time a month, so I wanted to use hours for three months to book a meeting for three hours two months in the future. But now, I would have to pay for two hours, because hours are not allowed to roll over, and have to be booked in the same month. To me, that’s a stupid, rigid, not user formerly policy. That’s why 4-stars.

I currently have a office at the venture x Torrington , and i could not be happier with the way this past month has gone. The front desk ladies Lorena & McKenna are lovely! always being very welcoming and putting on events! i could not be happier with this place. If your thinking about getting a space... DO IT
