Rich with franchising, real estate, marketing, and technology experience, Jason Anderson leads the Venture X brand. Jason oversees all aspects of the growth and development of this dynamic business after serving in other leadership roles at United Franchise Group including President of Accurate Franchising and Chief Technology Officer.
Jason also has strong real estate management skills which he honed as the founder of Premier Property Marketing Group in Dallas. It was in that capacity that he was recognized by Forbes Magazine in their coveted “30 Under 30” list which chronicles the brashest entrepreneurs across North America.
Rocky Hemp, Vice President of Operations, has enabled operational growth with process and technology beginning with the first Venture X franchise location. He is an entrepreneur with experience in supporting teams and organizational growth. He founded a telecommunications start-up averaging $2 mil annual gross revenue while successfully designing and managing all business operations for 14 years. While serving in a regional leadership role at Comcast NBC Universal, Rocky executed retail launches increasing customer acquisitions and revenue growth while providing strategic leadership, sales development, and channel management to multiple teams across 340 Verizon Wireless, Best Buy, and Target retail locations.
Matt is a highly knowledgeable and experienced Corporate Real Estate Executive with broad and deep familiarity with a variety of industries for over 30 years. Matt has a proven track record with site selection, construction, and financing for franchises, schools, restaurants, grocers, and pharmacies.
He leads a dynamic team of proven professionals that are determined to exceed expectations and drive value with profitability and has a reputation for performance excellence, leadership, and results.
As Director of Marketing, Christine is responsible for working with prospective and active franchisees on all aspects of marketing strategy including digital, public relations, website, etc.
Christine has an extensive background in content marketing, lead generation, and branding. Prior to joining Venture X, Christine held various marketing roles within professional services organizations including Oasis Outsourcing and IBMSECU.
Christine holds an MBA from Florida Atlantic University.
Mark has been with United Franchise Group since 2014 serving in various roles within the company including Regional Vice President, Executive Vice President, and now the Divisional Director of Sales for Venture X. Mark has had extensive experience in the development of Venture X and has been involved with a large number of the new franchisees for Venture X.
Before joining UFG, Mark had a broad background in business. Mark has successfully started two different regional and national companies before selling both to publicly traded companies. Mark graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia (MIZZOU) with a degree in Economics.
As Director of Training for Venture X, Garrett heads the training program and is dedicated to the success of all Venture X franchisees and their support staff. Before becoming Director of Training, Garrett traveled throughout the US getting Venture X franchise locations set up from various stages of pre-launch to Grand Opening.
Garrett has extensive experience in strategic training, startup leadership, and multi-unit management operations. Throughout his career, Garrett has worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies including Enterprise Rent A Car, Dollar Thrifty Auto Group, and Avis Budget Group/Zipcar.
Garrett is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
During his career, Rubin has helped thousands of companies from all over the world navigate the flexible office space landscape. As Director of Membership Sales for Venture X, Rubin focuses on helping Venture X locations maximize their local sales and marketing strategies.
Rubin has over 12 years of Marketing and Sales Management experience, including recent work as a strategy consultant for coworking office operators. As Operator Relations Manager of the Americas for the largest flexible office advisory firm globally, the Instant Group, Rubin managed a portfolio of over 4,500 office center partnerships representing $100s of millions in real estate value throughout North and South America.
Karisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration and Management from Stephen F. Austin State University. Prior to joining United Franchise Group in March 2019, Karisa was an Associate Broker for a global real estate company and led the sales for a competitive coworking space in Houston, Texas. While there, she successfully gained new clients, closed sales transactions, and participated in strategic planning and the marketing of properties. She has a great desire to learn across all industries and is excited about growing here at UFG.
As the Construction Manager for Venture X, Mike is dedicated to overseeing the design and build-out of tenant improvement spaces for Venture X franchisee’s locations. Mike has been involved with every Venture X since the inception of the brand and initial design guidelines.
Mike has many years of experience in designing & building commercial construction projects such as shopping centers, office spaces, banks, schools, medical facilities, restaurants, etc. Throughout his career, Mike has been building interior corporate spaces similar to the Venture X design for Liberty Mutual, Fidelity, UNUM Insurance, and TD Banknorth. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering and Construction Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.
As the Venture X Purchasing Manager, Amanda is responsible for the purchasing, coordination, and delivery of the Schedule A equipment package. Amanda started as an administrative assistant with United Franchise Group in 2005. She was then promoted into the purchasing department, where she has excelled with the startup of over 10 brands in the United Franchise Group family of businesses.
Amanda’s focus and expertise is acquiring goods and services, coordinating deliveries of many items from multiple vendors, and working with these vendors to establish healthy relationships to get the best pricing for our Schedule A package. She attended Penn State University.
Pam has over 25 years of finance industry experience and has held numerous management positions in the non-profit and government sector. Her roles have included president of a non-profit community bank, chief diversity officer for the City of West Palm Beach and director of a Women’s Business Center affiliated with the US Small Business Administration.
Pam earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Florida State University and graduated from the Johns Hopkins University Executive Leadership Program.
As Franchise Real Estate Manager, Jon’s role is to advise franchisees with market analysis, site selection, deal structuring, letter of intent and lease negotiation, brand standards and processes, as well as coordinating the development process.
Jon has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate developing retail shopping centers, office buildings, medical offices, and outpatient surgery centers for corporations and developers. Over his real estate career, he has completed over 100 real estate transactions for approximately 2,500,000 square feet of commercial real estate. Jon has an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and a degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
As the Franchise Logistics Coordinator, Teri is the single point of contact between the franchisees and the corporate staff from signing of the franchise agreement, during set-up and through to start date. Everything from signage, real estate, financing status, logistics, purchasing, support set-ups and website needs are defined, scheduled, held to the timeline, completed and communicated to the franchisees and corporate staff.
Teri has over 20 years of experience in operations, sales and management. While Teri finds all facets of business interesting, the last 10 years she has been passionately obsessed with the coworking industry. Her passion has led to diversity and expertise in the coworking industry and now with her role at UFG.
