Employee Spotlight: Claire Brothers

Meet Claire Brothers: Director of Community Experience at Venture X LoDo

At Venture X LoDo, community isn’t just a perk of the workspace, it’s the foundation. And few people bring that to life more than Claire Brothers.

As Director of Community Experience, Claire leads with intention, creating a space where people don’t just come to work, but genuinely feel connected. Her approach is rooted in civic engagement, thoughtful leadership, and a deep belief in people-first environments.

Claire’s background in political science and her commitment to social justice give her a unique lens on community building. A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, she’s spent years exploring how society functions and how law, policy, and civic participation shape everyday life. Her studies in Western philosophy only deepened that curiosity, especially around justice, governance, and the role individuals play in both.

But for Claire, this has never been just theoretical.

She spent two years interning with the Colorado House of Representatives, getting a firsthand look at how legislation comes together. She later worked as a campaign field organizer for a Colorado State Senate race, connecting directly with voters across the district. Those experiences reinforced something she carries into her work today: communities are strongest when people feel informed, heard, and empowered.

Beyond Venture X LoDo, Claire serves on the Executive Board of Guardians of Our Democracy, where she leads community engagement, builds partnerships, and helps drive outreach across the Midwest. She’s especially passionate about working with rural and farming communities, drawing from her own background to build trust and create meaningful connections while supporting voter protection and civic participation.

Her commitment to service doesn’t stop there. Claire contributes to Past Present Future Co., a women-led blog, and has spent over a decade volunteering with her local Rotary Club. She’s also supported veteran healthcare initiatives at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, reflecting a consistent throughline of service in everything she does.

All of this shows up in the way she leads at Venture X LoDo.

Whether she’s making thoughtful introductions, curating events, or creating moments that bring people together, Claire is constantly building a community where members feel supported, inspired, and like they truly belong. With a growing interest in pursuing a legal education, she continues to see both community and law as powerful tools for building more inclusive spaces.

At Venture X LoDo, Claire helps ensure people don’t just work here, they’re part of something.
