- What made you want to get involved in this line of work?
South Texas is a diverse, fast growing area that we are proud to call home. Our company has the opportunity to assist in bettering the quality of life for our community.
- What has been the most rewarding aspect of your job?
We have had the opportunity to work with amazing clients. Our reward comes from delivering services that exceed our client’s expectations in both quality and craft.
- What’s the biggest challenge that you have faced in business and how did you overcome it?
We challenge ourselves to learn from innovative construction technology companies. The industry is fast moving and we want to be a part of modern building science innovation.
- What business tips would you like to share with others?
Starting a business is challenging and rewarding. Having mentors you can draw wisdom from is critical.
- What has been your favorite part about working at Venture X?
We love the energy, aesthetics, and variety of work areas at the Venture X locations. It helps us do some of our best creative work. The staff is pretty awesome as well!
A Personal Look at Chris & Lindsey Castillo
Chris and Lindsey shared that Castillo & Co. is a faith-driven company. They elaborated saying that “Biblical principles inspire our strategic planning.” It’s not all work for them though; they are both certified PADI freedivers and spearfishermen that also enjoy spending time on their boat exploring the Laguna Madre. And they shared that they love food, “Our travel plans usually consist of finding the best places to eat in any given city. We are always on the lookout for local suggestions!” Chris and Lindsey really embody the kind of people you will find at Venture X – hard working people who know the importance of stepping outside the office and enjoying other interests as well.
