In this member spotlight, we speak with CEO Vinh Hoang to learn more about how Cadenverse got started and how it inspires more musical artist partnerships to play with music in a fun way.
Tell us a little about Cadenverse.
Cadenverse is a blockchain based mobile music gaming platform that players or music artists can engage with and earn cryptocurrency while having fun playing music in any one of our multiple mobile games.
What led you to start Cadenverse?
The fact that musical artists are financially limited in their ability to be freely creative and to express themselves because of the greed of music industry intermediaries. I wanted to provide a platform that is not only fair and transparent in the pay for musical artists but also incredibly fun for users globally to enjoy playing music games.
What sets your business apart from your competitors?
What makes Cadenverse different from others is that we offer multiple mobile music games that are all connected through blockchain technology, where players and music artists can engage and earn cryptocurrency in a fun way.
What is something you wish you’d known when you were just starting your business?
I wish that I knew how impactful timing was in starting a business. Improper timing in creating a business could pose a huge issue for the process, given the events in the global economy in recent years.
How do you navigate your work-life balance?
I balance work and life by keeping work at the office at Venture X as much as possible and by exercising via hiking and swimming. As a business owner, keeping work only at the office is nearly impossible, given the responsibilities weighing on your shoulders.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of running my business is the sense of accomplishment that comes from actively trying to create a better world for others.
How has being a part of the Venture X Holyoke community affected you and your business?
Being a part of the Venture X Holyoke community has been great for Cadenverse since we were able to get straight to work on day 1 without having to worry about the intricacies of furnishing an office and getting all the bells and whistles in place.
If you had a friend in town and you could take them to one of your favorite restaurants or spots in your community, where would you take them?
I would bring a friend to Cracker Barrel because they have a variety of southern food and the best peach tea around.
