Well, wonder no longer! In this FAQ section, you should find the answers to most if not all of the questions you may have.
Membership
1. How does Community Membership work?
A community membership gives you access to the community area of our space once a month at the Venture X Lewisville – The Realm at Castle Hills location. You can rent conference rooms by the hour with membership rates at any of our Venture X locations.
2. Can I add to my Community Membership?
Yes, you may add on day passes as you see fit at a discounted member rate. You can also add more conference room hours at member rates as well as any of the other add on ancillary services we offer for an extra monthly fee.
3. Do I get discounts as a member?
Yes, all members of Venture X Lewisville – The Realm at Castle Hills receive many member discounts, from discounted conference room rental, discounted podcast room rental, and even discount day passes for their colleagues that visit.
4. What all comes with a basic office?
With our basic office package, you will receive a lockable office with an electronic key fob, 24/7 access, a Herman Miller desk, chair, and access to the community area including coffee/tea/water.
5. What is the notice period for canceling membership?
All memberships require a proper 30-day notice before they cancel their membership. There will be an early cancellation fee if a member needs to terminate the agreement before a 30-day notice period.
6. With my membership do I get a discount on events?
Yes, as a member of Venture X Lewisville – The Realm at Castle Hills you get a discount on all events that you would like to host in the large event space. Discounts will vary depending on the day and length of the event.
7. Is the internet included with my membership?
Yes, all memberships include a high-speed fiber internet connection through either a secured Wi-Fi connection or a hard-wired data port.
8. What is the speed of the internet for each membership?
General community membership through dedicated desk will receive internet (upload and download) speeds of 50mb/sec. Private office members will receive internet upload and download speed of 75mb/sec. Internet speeds can be increased up to 250mb/sec at additional costs.
Payment
9. Can I pay online?
Yes, as a member of Venture X Lewisville – The Realm at Castle Hills you will make all payments online through our easy to use member portal. To keep your membership to stay active, we require all accounts to have a form of payment on auto-pay for monthly charges.
10. How can I set up auto-pay on my member account?
Once you are in your member portal account, you will be able to view and make payment to your account balance. When you are making payment, you will set your account to auto-pay with a checkbox for all future payments.
11. Can I take my account off of auto-pay?
To keep your membership account active, as per our brand requirement, you must keep your account on auto-pay until your termination date.
Meeting Rooms
12. Do I have access to meeting rooms as a member?
Yes, depending on your level of membership, you will be entitled to a free number of conference room hours, and you will receive discounted member rates to rent our conference rooms.
13. How many hours of meeting room time are available on membership?
The type of membership dictates the amount of meeting room time you will receive. From the dedicated desk membership and above you will receive multiple complimentary meeting room hours. 2 hours for a dedicated desk membership, and 5 hours for a private office membership.
14. Can I add more meeting room hours?
All membership levels can add on as many meeting room hours at member rates as they would like. The prices vary for each size of the meeting room, so make sure to ask our community team about more specifics on
membership pricing.
15. How do I book a meeting room?
You can view the calendar of availability for all meeting rooms and book them through your member portal login. You may also notify a Venture X staff member to book for you.
16. How do I set up my member portal?
Once you sign the membership agreement, a Venture X staff member will send you the link through email. This email will have your login credentials and instructions on how to access your member portal.
Additional Services
17. Can I add my business logo/decal to my private office?
Yes, we offer a very affordable option through a great local partner in the area. You will be able to add your logo decal to your office. Contact us using the information at the bottom of this article for further information on pricing.
18. How much does a label cost to add to my private office?
Depending on the number of colors and sizes of the decal, the pricing will vary for the logo decal and installation.
19. Can I have frosted glass?
Yes, we offer privacy glass frosting by request through a local affordable vendor we partner with. Frosted glass is typically provided with members with at least a 12-month lease term.
20. How much does frosted glass cost?
Privacy glass frosting will range depending on the size of the area you would like to frost, and the size of the office you will be in. We have them come to measure and then send a quote we pass on to you.
21. If I don’t like my office can I relocate to another one in the suite?
Yes, we are a
flexible office space provider, just let us know and we will find a new one that fits your needs better. If the price is different then we will adjust going forward.
22. Is there a moving cost between offices?
Yes, there is a small flat fee to cover the cost of moving to another office, for the time and switching over services properly.
23. Can I have a mini-fridge in my office?
We do not allow mini-fridges in the
private offices for safety reasons, but we do provide plenty of large commercial sized refrigerators for members to keep food and beverages.
24. Are plants allowed inside my private office?
Yes, we do allow plants inside your office, we want our members to make it feel as comfortable as possible.
25. Can I bring my own office furniture?
Yes, we do allow you to bring your furniture, as long as it is approved by the Venture X Lewisville – The Realm at Castle Hills management prior. We do try to keep a luxury look and feel of our space.
26. Can I have a space heater or extension cords in my private office?
Yes, you can have extension cords with surge protectors, but you are NOT allowed to have space heaters or any other heating appliance in your office.
27. Am I able to use wallpaper on my office wall?
Yes, you can use peel and stick wallpaper, as long it does not leave any permanent damage to the wall.
Amenities
28. Can I receive business mail and packages?
Yes, with a private office you will receive your own business suite address to use for receiving mail and packages. You may add this service to other memberships at an affordable cost as well.
29. Is mail service included as part of the membership?
Yes, by being a member of Venture X Lewisville – The Realm at Castle Hills, you are automatically signed up for mail services
30. How many mail keys do I get?
You will receive one mail key per mailbox and can add an additional key for a $25 one-time fee, or an additional mailbox with key for $25 per month.
31. Am I billed for coffee or beverages from the machines?
No, all hot beverages and filtered water is at no charge and included with your membership as an additional benefit.
32. Will I have access to a kitchen?
We do not have a fully functioning kitchen, but you will have access to our café with refrigerators, microwaves, a sink, a dishwasher, and two ice machines.
33. Am I able to work in the lounge area?
Yes, with every membership other than
virtual office membership, you will have access to work in the lounge area.
34. Do you have a private call area?
Yes, we have four private call phone booths equipped with a desk and chair, on a first come first served basis for as long as they are available.
35. Is there childcare available?
No, we do not have onsite childcare at this facility at this time.
36. Is there a nursing room or mother’s room available?
Yes, we have a dedicated nursing room or wellness room with a lockable door for privacy available on a first-come-first-served basis.
37. Do you have phone answering services?
Yes, we offer phone answering services by request at an additional charge. This can be added to any level of membership for their convenience.
38. Is there a gym on-site?
Yes, there is a gym located on the second floor of the building. It includes all cardio/weight training equipment and a locker room with showers. You will get gym access with a premium office membership.
39. What are the gym hours?
The gym is accessible 24/7 because the building has security on staff at all times to keep safety a priority.
40. Is reserved parking available?
Yes, we do offer two levels of reserved parking. One is reserved parking for $125 per month, and then the other is executive parking located in the main building for $250 per month.
41. Do you have parking on-site and is there a charge for it?
Yes, there is a 5-story parking garage located at the back of the building with ample general parking spots that are available at no extra charge.
Office Facilities
42. Do you have printing capability?
Yes, we have a commercial grade onsite printer/copier machine that is accessed by your electronic key fob to release prints. This ensures the security of your document and keeps track of total copies or prints made.
43. Does it cost to print?
Yes, all printing is chargeable. The charges are10 cents per black and white copy and 25 cents per color copy. Print charges come with your monthly bills and payment due the same time with your membership fees.
44. Do you have scanning available?
Yes, the onsite commercial grade printer/copier machine has scanning capabilities.
45. Does it cost to scan?
All scanning to email is free of charge for members. If you scan to print, the same charges for printing will be applied.
46. Do you have a fax machine?
No, we do not currently have a fax machine on site. We suggest clients use an e-fax account for faxing onsite.
47. Do you have a preferred caterer list?
Yes, we have a preferred caterer list we can provide to members for their events and meetings in the conference rooms. We can even do the ordering for you upon request.
Access
48. How will I have access to the building?
Depending on the type of membership you get, you will receive a 24/7 access electronic key fob to enter into the building and Venture X floor. If you do not have 24/7 access, you will have access from 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Monday – Friday with unlocked doors.
49. What do I do if I lost my key fob?
You may purchase a replacement key fob from the Venture X staff. Please also notify them so that they can shut off all access to the lost fob to ensure security.
50. How much does a key fob replacement cost?
You can purchase a new replacement key fob for $50.00 each time.
51. What are the building business hours?
Venture X Lewisville – The Realm at Castle Hills business hours are 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Monday – Friday. We’re also open on weekends for special events.
52. When are the closed office Holidays?
We are closed during all major bank holidays, including Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve and Day, and New Year’s Day.
